Is it worth it to go all steel braided?

I'm certain oil feed should be steel braided.

1) Oil drain w/ hi-temp silicone hose. Will this need to be replaced or cut every year(s)? Reliability?

2) Water lines will be made of aluminum tubing and places the heater hose about 1 foot away from the turbo. Will this need to be replaced or cut every year(s)? Reliability?

I don't know if I should go all steel braided, solely for longevity and reliability reasons. I don't care for aesthetics of the engine, so disregard bling factor.

Joe Perez will come in and call me a cheap **** for saying so, but I've got 15k and a year of abuse on my silicone drain hose with no issues. I'd take stainless water lines before I'd do a stainless oil drain. Oil feed should be SS for pressure reasons.

My oil feed is braided.

Drain is the high temp silicone and water is a regular old rubber hose, all wrapped in fiberglass weave. I bet they'll last the life of the car easy.

I went to the junkyard and got some auto trannies banjo and hardlines for the turbo water lines. I got a tube bender for $10, and made some custom bends to get the start of the rubber lines away from the turbo.

For M14 water fittings, auto tranny lines/banjo from 240sx and subaru bolts will work.

For M12 water fittings, You can get banjo/lines from A/C and P/S systems from toyota and honda.

Or if you are really lucky, you can find stock banjo lines from a turbo car. Too bad, all them turbo were already taken in my local junkyard.
