I just JB'd a 3/8 NPT bung from Home Depot to my coldside pipe, looks like Brain did too.

Hornetball - FRTfun is in the middle of nowhere, no MTnetters for a hundred miles at least.

I just drilled a hole and tapped the pipe wall. It's a little thin, but what stress does the IAT sensor see anyway? With some thread tape it passed the pressure test I tried.

I will probably drill/tap the end tank. I like that idea. A bit further than I wanted to run the wires, but oh well.

At work so can't give pics. But I used a PCV style rubber grommet with a plastic GM sensor that fits in an airbox. (was tired of welding) Drilled a 3/4 hole in the 2 1/2 pipe to mount it. VERY tight fit. and has held well to 12 psi. Been in there just about a year now and no problems. Do agree that at the intercooler is the best location. Especially with MS.

Well it needs to be post intercooler anyways. If you have to extend the wires it shouldn't really matter if it's 6 inches or 6 feet, just a little longer wires.
