Default custom intake manifold?

hey how think do you think the sheet metal on a custom manifold has to be? its got to be strong enough to not crack under heat and stressing, but how thick is that? thinkin that a custom manifold and bigger throttlebody would be a fun project.

Heh... I'll have to check material thickness... but the same manifold on my friends 2.2L honda running 12psi and maxing out 780cc injectors... hasn't cracked/exploded it yet.

Baseplate is quite thick... billet AL. The pieces cut from a 90degree bend are .063 I think and the side plates are probably .08x something. Vacuum fittings are threaded into thicker plate added on top of bottom plate.

Beyond that... once I'm up and running... and boosting... I can tell you if it holds
