1.6l is all you need to know, maybe a 1.8 swap for more displacement. I will get injectors as I need to make power, its about find a proper turbo unit.

If you start over and ditch like half that utter diarrhea garbage crap that you have under the hood right now that makes everyone sick just looking at it, and actually invest some money into your car I'm sure you will at worst end up with a powerband like brains (which is nice). At best you'll make much more power. If you swap to 1.8 and use proper parts I'm sure youll make lots more power.

I dont think he likes mentioning his setup because its terrible.

Though at least he's using MS and not doing it with band aids, so I shouldn't hate on it that bad.

I ------- hate the megashit as well, it will be binned next time around.

The point is not about the injectors, or the fuel its about looking for a turbo unit to deliver tq\power output as soon as possible, not at 4000 revs max tq begins

so you'll be binning the only part of your current setup that isn't completely crap?

what are you looking to run in place of it? AEM? Adaptronic? Hydra?

You clearly fail at using the tools you have infront of you to gain what you're after. Sure you might need a different turbo but the turbo map is not the only thing effecting the out put.

Megasquirt is junk, record setting sales out the door everybody has one you need to learn how to use it, junk. Yep.

I know to use it, I also know its limits as well and lot about it. record settings sales so what? doesn't mean its a great product.
You don't think if I get another turbo I'm not gonna get a propler manifold or exhaust?

obviously if someone suggests a turbo that has a different flange I will need to get a exhaust manifold with that flange.

I've been using the tools I have to diagnose and make my car faster, fix it, and get better tq at the low end, there is only so much I can do with a older t3 turbo frame.

I'm not sure yet, but this time I won't be scared at dropping a pretty penny for a proper EMS.
