-added new vnt actuator bracket mounted off hot side
-clocked compressor so discharge piping should clear the hood
-test fit to 1.6 log manifold. Should work with t3 to 2260v flange adapter

I guess what happens with these turbos is the VNT mechanism gets clogged with diesel soot due to leakage past the hot side seal plate. This can happen as early as 50k especially if the car has been chip tuned. This causes the car to go into limp home mode.
Dealers often prefer to replace the turbo with a new one rather than clean the soot out.
The problem is well known
