Buy a UEGO. If you don't have the patience to follow the directions perfectly, at which point it still might not work, the Uego is right for you. So much simpler, and you can trust it.

my 2 cents

I think I have it sorted now. Im trying to finish 1 task at a time but make ure each is fully finished before moving to the next task. As im worried for example that the gauge may be reading incorrect then I do my fuel table as Brain said and I adjust the fuel based on a false gauge reading which either leads to disaster or it leads to time wasted.

You need to make sure that your guage is designed for displaying a wideband value. Then do the same in MStunerstudio. What i mean by this is that if you have a guage designed to accept a narrowband signal you need to use lmprpgramer to set that outputwire to output the narrowband signal same with tunerstudio. Then go to LMprogrammer and make sure both outputs are set to the correspomding output type and are both outputting for your correct fuel type. As long as you set correct fuel type in logworks if you look at the afr guage on your laptop screen that is guaranteed to be accurate.
Also you need to understand that if your engine missfires or there is an air leak upstream of the sensor in the exhaust the sensor will read erratically. If you can fit a standard computer to the car safely you will know if these are happening because obviously the tune on the factory computer is good.

I have the G3 gauge I think? It's a black faced one with the red needle. I was told that you cannot use the same outputs for the MS and the gauge. That's why if you look at my diagram, I have the one going to MS set differently than the one going to the gauge. If the O2 sensor is calibrated correctly, both the gauge and the MS should read the same AFR's. Make sure you change the outputs to what I have them set to in the diagram and just wire it up like I posted. If I don't have any issues and I'm running it this way, then why should you?

I will set all the values as yours is and wire as you have and hope all is well. If I do it the same will I have to change anything in Tunerstudio or will it all work normally?

Just make sure that Tuner studio is set to whatever you designated the LC-1 to MS wire to read. Otherwise, it should work fine.

I made a very poor quality video on my phone to try and show the AFR and running of the car for your comments. The vibration at the end is my radio against the gear stick.

The AFR map you are referencing in your video is just targets for closed loop. That table is specifically populated to tell the MS the ideal AFRs you'd like to see in that situation. If you have closed loop EGO enabled, it will make on-the-fly adjustment to the fuel based on the AFR reading it's getting, compare them to your AFR table, and make +/-% adjustments to your fuel map to correct.

With that being said, it doesn't appear that the MS is seeing the o2 signal at all. It should match what your innovate gauge is outputting.

Does the virtual o2 gauge within Tuner Studio ever show anything but 7.xx:1?

If by the virtual O2 gauge you mean my bottom right gauge in the vid which is Air Fuel Ratio 2 then no it never moves. I havent changed any settings in Tuner studio for the AFR yet.

I don't believe the gauge should show up as AFR 2. Just Air Fuel Ratio...you could be displaying the wrong gauge. Right click on it and change it to Air Fuel Ratio or Air Fuel Ratio 1 if there's multiple.

I can't view TS here at work to verify.

Let me go back and try it now on the car with Air Fuel ratio instead of the other gauge to make sure.

No the gauge isnt moving on TS. I think I have a few factors not helping things.

First is my engine is running like its missing and not smooth.
Innovate AFR gauge is moving but irractic (This could be right as I have never had an AFR gauge before so im not sure if its supposed to do it)

Any suggestions as to why my MS isnt reading my AFR on Tuner Studio?

Do I need to reclaibrate even though the gauge is reading?

Why isnt Tuner Studio seeing the Signal?

Is the DB15 port wired correct with the ECU wire on. There is only 2 pins of the DB15 used now I have wired the LC1 into the car wiring. 1 for the EBC and the other for ECU signal and thats it.

Bump because I am in the same boat. I tried to install hustler's spare lc1 in to my car today with no luck. I have it wired according to this:

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/s...C-1_Manual.pdf

and used this for the gauge wiring:

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/s.../DB_manual.pdf

There is no power anywhere. I am using the DB37 connecter on the front of my MS. I'm so lost.
