dude, i did a search by your user id, and digging through 7k posts was not fun... but I did get to your build....

you first build post, where you listed shopping list, and your recent build list with you dropping the car off at begi... and there was a lot inbetween....

so i will dig through the remaining 6000 or so posts to try and glean as much information from you as possible... lol...

correct me if i'm wrong, but it looks like you ended up going with a begi system, were there fitment issues because you put a 99 motor in your NA body?

so theoretically, if i went with the begi, then fitment shouldn't be a problem as im putting a 95 motor into a 93 chassis....

also which clutch did you end up with, you went back and forth on several different ones and i couldn't find the one you ended up with...

the threads all seem to die in the early part of 2007...

thanks

progress, it only took me a month to getting around to getting the engine off the crane and tire, and onto a proper engine stand... lol... removed all the crap from the hotside to mount the engine according to the manual, never mounted an engine from the side before, that was interesting....

the engine supposedly has less than 80k miles, but it's filthy, and i'm debating whether i should just tear it down, and rebuild or just slap it in there with the minimum... and it was already out of the car, so no compression test...
again, we will have to wait...

a little more progress... i'm glad i decided to rebuild it, one of the sparkplugs was badly rusted, i'm afraid of what it will look like when iget the head off... basically removed all the assesories...

and the valve cover... one of the bolts for the valve cover was broken, and the whoever did the last belt change filled it with silicone
