Default TEO4H Turbo

I was given a Mitusbishi TE04H turbo and intercooler as a contribution to my Miata turbo project on a 91 NA 1.6l motor. I was wondering if anyone has done a DIY setup with this type of turbo. I am a pretty experienced mechanic with good TIG and Mig welding skills. I will be doing my own pipe fabricating. I am not real knowledgeable at some of the electronic controllers to retard timing. But I am learning fast by reading many of the posts here. I do have an upgrade fuel pump and injectors for the system. And I made my own turbo manifold already.

Does anybody have any advice on parts selection for this type of turbo? Or does anyone have any idea of how much hp I can achieve with 6-9 pounds of boost with this turbo and intercooler?

The Miata that I am using for a platform is already race ready with a new clutch, coil over suspension, and 1.8l Torsen differential. So it should be decent enough to handle power in the neighborhood of 200hp. And if it does not, I can do more upgrades.

I was planning on doing another Miata with the 13B rotary transplant. Hopefully, I can compare the two and see which one is more fun to drive and race.

I'm not familiar with your turbo but I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of the manifold you built if you have the ability to take/post some. Sounds like the car is being built right with the suspension, rearend, and clutch being done already.
