Default Turbo Crane Evolution

So I'm still thinking about this, partially because I clearly have a mental disorder, but here are some pics I snapped while watching a race on TV. This is the diesel Mazda GX engine. Notice bracing in two places with heim joints, on the block, the cool flange thingie that bolts to the compressor housing, and my extreme level of want.

I know what a Wiggins clamp is, I use them on my flesh-light. I'm talking about the flange thingy they made that bolts onto the compressor, at the CHRA, that the turbo crane connects to. If I could get the flange like that cut, I could make a Heim at home and possibly extend the life of my turbonator.

You're talking about 'if you can get sheetmetal cut?'

When did that become an if? Trace it out. Take it to shop. Get your crane. Win.

How quickly did you grab your remote and how much noise did you make when the camera guy swung by that part of the engine?

I reacted slowly enough to not disturb the kitty who was sleeping on me.

I want to see more pictures. I am always up for adding more complexity to my car.
