Default What Trim T3?

Hi, ive just bought an OBX racing T3 manifold for a bargain price!

Now i need a T3 turbo just wondering what trim T3 do you recommend for the 1.8? I dont want anything too laggy!

You can't just ask a vague question like that, specify your goals and other mods you plan to do.
Brace the **** out of that OBX mani, they are known to crack rather easily and frequently. If you can't weld, it is well worth it to take to local shop and have them weld on some braces for you.

hi sorry about my vagueness

I am wanting around 260-300bhp, i will not be forging it for now, this will come later, will be gettin it setup on emange with all req fueling mods.

The last user hasnt had any trouble with the manifold, seen pictres at all angles and its not been rewelded, i have a mate who does exhaust fabrications tho, ill get his to brace it up for me! Cant complain for £30 thought id give it a try!

probably a good candidate for a small t3/t4 47 or 50 trim.

notice it says .50 on the comp housing and sounds pretty impressive.

sorry for the questions im not big on knowledge on turbo's all the numbers and figures confuse me

it looks like a Stage III turbine, wont spool very fast, will make **** tons of power.

ah ok so i need a lower stage turbine? im wanting something that spools at 3000rpm at max, does anyone have a link where i can learn about turbo's or explain it to me?

how do i know what produces much power and how do i know what will spool the quickest?

go to turbobygarrett.com and read the turbo tech 101 102 and 103. shoudl help you get started.
