Going to try and AutoX the car this Sunday... so I took off the roller wheels and tossed on my wheels with the Azenis.

Doesn't look too bad for a nice cheap wheel/tire combo.

Going to try and tune more tomorrow... then if its still alive... beat on it at the autox on just 10psi for now.

Survived the autox. turbo/motor/etc came through without an issue. Still have my vibration from 4k-5k or so.... but it ran like a clock.

I have in car video of 8 out of 10 runs. I'm working on fixing video drivers on my computer so I can record them off my video camera and upload them.

Then you get to see me driving the car basically for the first time.... I've done one autox in a stock miata... and then this autox today. That is ALL of my rwd driving experience other than driving from A to B and some pulls for tuning... I'm fighting the cars lack of suspension tuning, 195 azenis (toooo small) all while trying to figure out the car.

I was at the Auto-X and checked the car out, but did not get to see it run. There are details so finish (there always are), but the concept and engineering are excellent. I love the idea that the air enters the nose and has to go through either the intercooler or radiator, not both. The inlet/outlet for the intercooler are so close to the turbo/throttle body is amazing, the total piping length must be less than 8 inches. Very impressed I was sorry I did not see it run.

They are MSW wheels made by OZ. I picked them up from an m.net person who had them in storage for at least 10years with old snow tires on them. From their condition when I got them.. I'd say they were the only tires mounted and had been used a season or two at the most before being stored.

edit: you mean the 15x8 sportmax 002s then. I feel silly putting them on the car until they get real tires... but I preferred the wife to get the new 205s... and i just stole her old 195s. I feel like an idiot on stretched tires... but the lip and width I do like. They will eventually get a nice R comp or something along those lines... 245/255 width tires.

Oh... my 240Z flares are waiting at home for me... I hope they fit decently

Exhausted.. and driving out to family for holidays.

Datalog from the run included

13.75@109 on the old/stretched 196 falken Zeix 512s.

60ft - 2.26
1/8th ET - 9.09
1/8th mph - 80.06
1/4mile ET - 13.75
1/4mile MPH - 108.91

Might have some useable vid... I'll know next week. I'll be mostly offline this holiday... sorry

I trapped higher than I expected... and it has more in it at this psi...with a real launch and some work. I was slow shifting, my first 2 runs I missed 3rd and then 2nd/3rd... it sucked.

So my 3rd run made me happy.

wow, that's great for 10psi and a damaged turbine wheel.

What's also great is your MAT, that v-mount is amazing. 94*F in first gear to 80*F at the end of 4th.

What wbo2 are you using, cause the log looks like a flat 14:1 to me....

NGK Powerdex

I'm running ~12:1 across the 10psi range.
