From what I've heard, they require a little bit of modification to fit just right. Try getting in touch with the guy (can't remember who it is right now but a search should turn his name up with no problem.) that can get mishimoto radiators. They're pretty cheap, supplied by a forum member, and have good feedback as far as quality and final fit go from people here that have them.

+1 on CXRacing. I bought an intercooler from them as well and I am happy with it. I agree, go for it.

Is there a radiator dimensions chart comparing the width/height/thickness of the ten or so major aftermarket units and the various known stock pieces?

Anyody know the size of the stock manual and auto trans pieces of the various years?

The GS rad is over 2", I think the core was something like 2 1/4. I'd say 2X a stock 1.6 manual rad.

The shipping on the 31x12x3 IC is $50 yet the 27x18x2.25 Radiator is $31. Guess it must be a heavy IC.

I'd give that rad a try if I had a different IC setup, that didn't require lowering and tilting the rad.

Looking at it, There are some companies smart (GS, Mishimoto, CX) enough to source (the same) OEM stuff out of China and sell to us.

I don't doubt that the IC is heavier. The i/c is a tank.

I would email and ask if these are in stock ready to ship before ordering. (I have asked and waiting on a reply)

***UPDATE*** got a reply of "yes" so hopefully they have more than 1.

I would want to know the exact size of the stock radiator so I wouldn't be pissed as hell when it showed up and was the exactly the same.

Here is a link to another popular radiator site that should give an idea of the stock sizes. http://radiatorbarn.com

I have this radiator and it is literally twice as thick as the stocker. So far it's been holding up.
