Default oil drain location

Ive searched and searched, and from what ive found i think this is the proper location for the oil drain if you have a/c and p/s. I just thought i should get a few opinions before i start drilling.

Angle grind out that front horizontal section in the AC brace (the long oval section) and the drain plug will screw in perfectly in the middle of that void in line with the section of metal you just removed.

How did you make the thread for the fitting?

Did you have to remove the oil pan?

You tap the pan to make the threads.

You don't have to remove the pan to tap it.

Lots of info on this subject already. Search for drilling oil pan, tap, oil drain fitting, etc.
