Default 265 cc fuel injectors vs 240 cc

on a 99 model with oem 02 sensor closed loop shouldn't it be able to handle 265 cc fuel injectors vs 240 cc ?

just wondering, running stock ecu with voodoo box if the larger injectors would give me alittle more head room up top when maxing out my set up on w/b dyno.

I have heard "yes" since stock ecu has tollerance of about 25% in fuel trim.

just wanted feedback from this forum please... thanks

buck

I would think they would, but that's not much of an upgrade. Why not go for some 305 cc toyota injectors?

305 Supra, sure but I am running stock ECU will they work? What source to get them at?

I am not a DIY kind of guy but I want to learn, but can not afford stand alone & piggy right now. Don't know ****, and bought a beginner kit (VDII) with a t2554, yes a 2554 as I want the spool. If I upgrade later I still have some room to grow

I found out with my stock ECU I can run bigger injectors and with this 93 octane (Dallas) should get close to 200hp with base timing. (I think & hope) (wideband dyno)

still waiting on the kit to arrive but wanted to get all my ducks in a row now. Having clutch put in (spec II) and trying to source some injectors. So... 01-05 265 cc and or 305 supra as you indicated... I will keep looking

but thats my goal, thanks

if you want to run 265cc injectors find 01-05s. They will spray better at only 60psi.

So let me get this straight....

You are going to run a VDII kit with NO fuelling mods what so ever except a set of bigger injectors????? If so then id put in the 305's to keep things nice and rich so your engine doesnt go KABOOM!

he's going to run the voodoo box. Not much else you can really do on a 99 without spending $$$, however from the reviews I keep hearing you may want to research the Powercard-Pro.
