Default Injector Question

I am new to Miata's and want to know if a standard Accel ford injector can be modified to go into the Miata. I have a set of these and would like to use it in a turbo set up. I thought I read somewhere that they could be modified, but can't find the info to do it.

I dunno about fitment, but they're not big enough anyway so why bother? You'll want at least 42lb.

At least 42 for what? 36lb injectors will be big enough for SOMETHING, may be how much this guy wants to make.

As far as fitment, I'm 90% certain that you will have to machine down the upper portion of the injector to fit the rail.

For 200+whp. Which is what 98% of people end up wanting.

What'll happen is he'll modify these, get bored with 180whp or whatever they can make, want bigger injectors, and then not be able to sell these cos they've been messed with.

Eh, I've made 240 to the wheels on 330cc injectors, which works out to about 32lb per hour.

With the right fuel pump, 1 to 1 fpr and rrfpr you can safely do it. At 100psi fuel pressure these injectors will flow over 50lbs, they will be equal to a 573cc injector at 43.5psi of fuel pressure.

I turboed my neon with 15lbs of boost on these injectors, now I have 48lb injectors and running 20lbs of boost on pump gas.

I am only going to go for about 10lbs with the Miata until I am ready to build the block.

they look like the same dimensions, just need to solder in new clips, as they are not the same.

380cc at 100psi is good for lots of power! 265rwhp or so.

Sorry, just used the site for a pic

These I had leftover from my turbo upgrade I did on my neon.
Insted of trying to sell them, I figured I would put them to some good use
