DIY Turbo Discussion greddy on a 1.8? homebrew kit?

New to turbo'ing, would like some advice on parts required.

Right I thought I would reply again to this thread a few months on. I have decided to go the Megasquirt route, I can see peoples reasons for recommending it. Will have it running EBC finally, probably use MBC to get me started.

Thinking of either a TD04 or GT25, will need to have a bit more of a search round to find out which is best suited for me. Will weld my own manifold from a JGS stage 1 kit, then a 3" downpipe to at least get me going. Though I will ideally use 3" throughout, with a decat too. Will have to see how space is after the manifold being built.

Will go for ebay intercooler, they seem plenty good enough for the job, though need to look up the best way to fit it on a car with AC. Not much info in the UK for that due to the lack of AC in UK spec cars. Will run 550cc rx7 injectors too, which should be plenty enough for it.

Now I am just playing with the idea of COPs too, though not sure whether it is worth it.

Just thought I would update you lot to show the direction I am going.
