so we can assume that since you cheaped out on a manifold, you cheaped out on the rest of the car? I think it would be easier taking it one project at a time....

If you're running 20 psi on a tiny turbo then it's not big enough for your power goals. do yourself and your engine a favor and get a larger turbo. 12psi from a 50 trim t4 compressor is much better for power and reliability than 20 psi out of the cute little guy.

o noee.... i never cheaped out on other parts.... just the manifold and d/p (and turbo if you wanna get technical) it's just my mom wants me to rid of the car so she can buy me a new car (most likely an evo) and from there i will use the evo for DD and buy another miata for another project car.

You had a car for 7 years....guessing you got it when you had a license, say 16 years old and now your 23 years old and your mom telling you to sell it? Think its time to take your moms teet out your mouth and grow up, son.

nope... 21 years old.... what's growing up have to do with my mom making me sell the car? a quick FYI before you jump to conclusions...my mother and i have always been sharing our bank accounts and our profits and money that we bring into the household...we just have that close of a mother-son relationship with each other. so before you act like a jackass thunderdick about assumptions to why my mom's making me sell the car, i'd like to let you know the only reason WHY she wants me to sell it is because of my safety... she basically doesn't want me driving something that's as light as a tin can around anymore..... and plus i was 14 at the time my stepfather bought me the car, so i DO NOT own it, i follow by her rules because HER name's on the paper....she says sell it? okay i will..... but i've got no choice but to take another daily that she offers me..... and as for starting ANOTHER miata project? well those funds will have to come out of MY pocket.... which and whenever i earn enough money to start that project....

sooo....shiny the turbo i bought off this one kid was actually the same color! it took i believe 1-2hours of straight driving before all the paint burnt up and it turned into a dull silver lol, no worries though hustler, with all the new sources to manifolds and turbo's now...i'm pretty sure i won't have a problem doing my NEXT turbo build especially the right way
