Look at the rubber caps that are supposed to be on the intake manifold. There is usually one on the back of the manifold. Otherwise the intake gasket itself, possible a leak around your injectors. All kinds of options.

hmm, i did have a problem with fuel leaking from my injectors when i put them on... but from what i can see, i dont see/smell and fuel from that area... ill go around my motor and check for any missing plugs or loose hoses.

A smooth idle that doesn't fluctuate is worth looking for a vac leak.

damnit...my idle will do that too...sometimes...and everytime i drive the car and put it back from neutral it will drop pretty fast and bounce at the 0 and come back up and paly a little bit and go back to normal. I KNOW i don't have a leak. redid all my selicone vacumme hoes and took it to my friends smog shop and smoke it for leak. no leak.....i think its a matter of tuning... making it idle right.
