What gauge is the normal downpipe/exhaust?
I'm going to be building my own downpipe tig welding it togeather and since noone makes it for my setup. I went looking on ebay for mandrel bent piping and came across a few good canidates yet they are saying its 16 gauge stainless steel so i'm hesitating it might be too thin?

16 (.065) will work. You might even get by with 18 (.049) if you are concerned with weight savings. If you don't have much experience welding thin tube you might get some mild steel in the same gauge to play with before you go for the real thing, as it can be a bit tricky at times. I still have a few pieces of 16ga mild bends if your interested.

Cjernigan- Yea I guess you could say I'm back. I'm still not really doing many kits or fab unfortunately. College is a killer, along with a few other things I'm dealing with. But I might be able to get things out if someone really needs them. I do have a box of MS bends sitting around if anyone still needs any.
Pakman- I wasn't sure how much time you had spent and thought I would just give you a heads up. It looks like you are comfortable in your welding skills so you can probably ignore what I said about practice. That looks pretty good. I'm still working on Al. We aren't friends at the moment. Steel and its alloys are a different story.

Tubing coming off the downpipe flange to the tial wg, then the tial dumps to atmosphere. The turbine housing has a divorcer plate welded in the housing to seperate the flow, the internal wg flapper assembly is removed and welded shut.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate it. What are you exactly having problems with? The pic I posted is garbage.. I just wish I had more time to practice.
