Default deleting/cleaning up vacuum lines

04 mazdaspeed miata. running ms2 built by rev.

i am curious as to how to delete some of the vacuum lines. its such a cluster---- of lines idk what i can delete and what goes to what. i have a tech file that labels them, but its kind of hard to read. anywho, any help is appreciated.


the engine is out right now and i just wanna be able to make it look cleaner once its back in, if someone could at least point me in the right direction for information

I'm guessing no, but if anyone is to help, they need to know if you ever plan to smog it or use the stock computer. I'm pretty sure both the map sensor and purge solenoid will throw check engine lights with stock ecu as well as failing visual.

if you're not concerned with emissions, MOST of that crap can be deleted.

I don't actually see that many vacuum lines in what you circled. The stuff on the right are mostly fuel vapor lines for your evaporative emissions controls. A lot of people have eliminated their charcoal cannister (including me). But I wouldn't have bothered if I didn't want to use that space for a WI pump.

once you disconnect the 2 or 3 lines teed off the 2 sensors going to the mani, you can pretty much remove a majority of that clump. then figure out your charcoal cannister delete and you're set
