my shop wants to know it the t25 from the sr20det will fit the megan racing manifold/downpipe? if so he wants to buy one for my car and ad some bracing to see if he can deal with cracking.
we know the sites list mitsubishi 16g/t25 but we are curious about the sr's turbo
which also means less money i have to spend!! and the sooner the turbo will be running!!

I'm pretty sure the sr20 turbo is a standard t2 flange. You could buy a flang adapter though (not sure where but ive seen them). They run from $30-$50.

mitsu t2s are different than garrett t2s, basically a circle vs. a square outlet.

The T25 from the 2g dsm cars are dirt cheap. When I was looking, they were less than SR20 T25 turbos. You can find cheap rebuild kits for them, too.

I have an SR20 turbo what do you want to know. They have the standard garrett t2 inlet and the garrett 5 bolt outlet.

You could probably adapt it somehow, but the DSM t25 has the correct flange for your manifold and is otherwise almost the same as the Nissan SR20DET t25, so why bother with the Nissan one.

oh ok, well ill be looking for the mitubishi t25, they already seem alot more rare than a garrett
but where can i find an adapter?

The MR Mani is made for a Mitsu round type T25 turbine inlet flange and will not be compatible with the standard T25 square flange found on the SR20det turbine housing. However, since the CHRA's of T25's are the same, you can substitute just about any compressor or turbine housing for any other one. I've got 3 2gDSM turbine housings, PM me if you're interested. You can use it on your SR20det turbo an it will mate directly to the Megan Manifold... I've even got a ported one! See pics. It is not however, the standard T25 5-bolt flange patters... it's some stupid 2g specific 4-bolt design. And you'll have to drill/tap new wastegate actuator mounting holes in the compressor housing (no problem) as the wastegate itself isn't in the same position.

The adapter is a bad idea. The Megan has some history with cracking. The adapter that goes between the turbo and Mani is about 2 inches long and places the turbo further away from the block, amplifying the stress through the entire manifold.
