Default Motor building questions

Alright so I think it might be wise for me to think about being ready to build my motor, should I blow it up. I also want more power, and I'm super cheap. So I have some questions about motor building on a budget.

Goal is 300-350whp street only.

Obviously the rods are the weak part, so I will be getting a set of forged ones.

Pistons, could stock pistons suffice at this power? Maybe with a coating from swain tech? (I do possibly have the option of running E85 with switchable maps) If not I'll probably go with the big (85mm I think) forged ones. Or not cause I don't want to buy the oversized head gasket.

What about bearings. Do I need high performance ones or will OEM do?

Oil pump gears. Are the boundary gears needed for a street motor, or will stock suffice?

Head/Main studs. I've read that upgraded ones aren't necessary, what say you?

I'm still learning all the nonsense I need to do a motor rebuild so I probably forgot some stuff. But basically could I throw a set of rods in, maybe some pistons and keep other things OEM for cheapness? Or is that a stupid idea?

Also machine work will be free/next to nothing. I still have to call my machinist and see how much of the building he can actually do.

Thanks. Sorry if these are dumb questions but I couldn't find that much information on budget motor builds.

well, i posted in the wrong place but might as well make it useful.

ARP head bolts are cheaper or same price as stock head bolts, but can be reused.
High.

everything else is subject to discussion. personally, for that power target though I would do ALL OF IT - pump gears, pistons, head/main bolts. you'll end up with a bottom end that can hold a ton of power.

Exactly this. I understand wanting to save money on what you can but as he said do all of it. Its only gonna be an extra 1000 bucks give or take in parts and you have a bottom end that you have no worries about as long as you have a good tune.
