HKS can suck it

HKS can suck it
My life went to total crap today when I my girl and I were out driving around with the top down and my rear turbo seal and my HKS ssqv black edition bov both kicked the bucket. This is my second HKS SSQV black bov within less than a year and they both developed sealing issues and premature venting (-15 to -18 vac). I am broke as heck and now get to rack up some more credit card debt. Hooray college poverty! On the upside I will be upgrading to a slightly larger turbo and will be downgrading to a simpler, adjustable BOV.
Still hating life,
Ben

Or,
... and a large stone was kicked up by the truck in front of of which crashed through the windshield, striking her in the head. There's serious trauma to her frontal cortex, and right now the doctors aren't sure she'll survive through the might, much less ever be able to speak or recognize my face.
Or,
... when the cellphone rang, but I didn't hear it at the time. When I checked my voicemail later, the message just froze my blood. It was my mother, calling me trapped under a pile of rubble from the bridge which had collapsed above her, and her dying words were uttered to a machine... left on a goddamned voicemail because I couldn't hear the phone over the sound of my open-exhaust. I wish I could have spoken to her just one last time. There were so many things I wanted to say, and now I'll never have the chance.
Or,
... and we passed by a hotel where a furry convention was being held. Out of curiosity, we stopped and went inside.
Not

Sorry, there are things that qualify as life going to total crap. This ain't one of them.

Life went to crap. Then I found 5 dollars. Better? I'm replacing the hks unit with an ebay knockoff. I had a knockoff type rs on my car for a solid 2 years before I "upgraded" to the hks so I will def be goin the cheap route. The ebay unit even comes with some sweet recirc fittings that should work well with my lame setup. I bought the turbo that just went bad from someone off the forum a while ago (the same person I bought my torsen swap from; at the same time) and it was a used unit. I thought it was in better condition than it actually was I guess. I'm pretty sure it's mostly siezed up right now and produces a solid zero pounds of boost. I put my foot down and I guess it spun just enough to coat my downpipe with oil resulting in my girl freaking out.
her: "WTF IS THAT?"
me: "Shut up baby it's just my car exploding"

I find the more simple parts are more reliable. Although I'm seriously displeased with TiAL's lack of support for my turbine/CHRA issue, I can't fault them on their blow off valve. However, after the BS and lack of followthrough on my end, I wish I had Turbosmart stuff in my car. TiAL should have provided me with drilled CHRA hardware and should give me a new housing for my wastegate. They've had enough free R&D from me.
