Here is where I'm going to run the FMIC pipes through my Radiator support

Here is the goal... I'm going to run a over the top mount FMIC.

What makes this fmic difficult to install besides the fact that it's huge.. is that there are no kits like this for the miata. So I'm making it from scratch... I'm currently taking a few welding classes and I'm going to be attending a Tig welding class next sem so this shouldn't be too difficult to make.

Here's what my car looked like when I picked her up (1994 Miata 1.8L) $1500

I was thinking of replacing my FMII IC with this too on my '01.

Did you pull the quarter panel yourself? If so, details. I have a dent in my rocker panel from turning to sharply in a parking lot. Hit a concrete median thingy. Car looks too sick lowered though. Its not a bad dent but I think the only way to fix it with the least filler is to use a stud welder and a slide hammer. I don't know if its possible to rent those though.

How big is the dent? Most dents in the quarter panel you can remove with this:

I think it might be cause of those Koni Yellow's you're running. Looks good... I love flat black, I'm thinking about doing a flat white on mine.

VRTsid- I havn't actually bolted on the turbo to see how it is.. it will either sit on top of the manifold.. or hang off it lol.

you have to turn the turbo 180degrees... Hks has a top mount manifold....

Clock the turbo down...(compressor housing) Make sure oil feed is on top (and drain is bottem)
If that is a bb turbo you need watercooling!

Because you have no ac, it is easier to lower the radiator and move it a little back. The holes although big enough will not clear the pipes...(hope it does)
The miata in the pic also has an other radiator position.

The holes clear the pipe. I'm going to try two things.. One i'm going to install the fmic without the hood and see if it fits. Then I'm going to cut the inside of the hood so it fits.
