This actually leads me to a question about my turbo. I recently got a freshly rebuilt sr20 t25. Tried to clock it last night. All 4 CHRA bolts loosened very easily. I put a breaker bar in the compressor outlet, and one in the exhaust inlet, and tried to turn it. The compressor housing was actually the side that moved, even though the snap ring is still in. I think the CHRA may be stuck with powder coating. Anyone have a suggestion? I'm thinking I may need to take the snap ring out, take the compressor housing off, then get the turbo in a vice. Then rotate the CHRA that way. Does that sound right?
