TREperformance 255 LPH fuel pumps
Hi everyone,
I am in the midst of installing my turbo and looking for a higher flow fuel pump. I chance upon TREperformance 255 LPH fuel pumps on Ebay.

Does anyone here have experience with this fuel pump? Is this pump reliable? any inputs would be most helpful. Thanks everyone in advance!!

See if you can get the seller/manufacturer to send you a graph of flow vs pressure. Also, give some information about your set up and goals.

My setup is 1.6L NA engine (91). Running a Garret T25 turbo with a supra intercooler. RX7 AFM, 1.8 injectors, turbosmart boost controller, APEXI BOV and E-manage blue. I also have a fifth 305cc injector. I intend to get 200WHP cos anymore and my tranny will not be able to take it... prob 0.7bar boost...
I do not think that the stock pump and FPR is able to cope with my requirements...but then again, this pump is really an overkill.. I will check out the walbro 190...thanks everyone and I love this forum!!

At 0 ~Hg. the 255 flows somewhere between 60-70 Gal/Hr., which is enough fuel to supply 4 1100cc injectors (or 650hp). The 255 is also known to overload the stock FPR and raise the base idle pressure, since at idle it's providing around 65-75 Gal/Hr.
On the otherhand the 190HP acts closer to the OEM FP (155lph), but can supply enough fuel at the higher FPs we tend to run them at.
20-30 Gal/Hr. @ 100psi is still enough to drive (4) 390cc injectors.

94 got a larger tank so the pump and sender assembly is slightly different.
You are correct about ditching the funnel--you have to cut the funnel off (no biggie) to make the new pump fit.
Alternatively you could use a 94+ pump assembly in your 90-93. It will bolt in but your gauge will read higher than actual.

Hi Guys,
I finally managed to find an online shop that will ship to me. (I am located in Singapore) However they only carry the 255LPH pumps instead of the 190 ones. Will it make a difference if I use the 255 together with a Walbro Fuel Pressure Regulator instead of the 190 one (also with fuel pressure regulator)? What about reliability of the Walbro 255 pumps?
Many thanks in advance!!
