Default BP26 cams non-compatible with 1.6L head???

is it real or they really fit. If not, tell me why, I bought some and I want to use them instead of NA cams. thanks

BP26 cams are from a 1.8 which is just a lengthened 1.6. 'y8s' already answered you in the other thread where you asked.

The spacing between the cylinders is different. BP26 cams WILL NOT fit in a 1.6.

Bah, they'll fit fine. A few cuts with a sawzall and 10 minutes with a welder and off you go!
