Did a bit of searching and had no luck so thought I would ask the question. I am sure I have seen the answer somewhere on here before but I just can't seem to find it.

Can anyone here share the genuine mazda part number for the PCV valve from one of the turbo familia engines?

Just tried "89 323gtx pcv" and didn't turn anything up.

I am after the genuine mazda part and also I am in Australia, hence we don't have an autozone.

And before you ask I did check with the dealer here but they don't have that vehicle listed as they didn't sell the gtx/gtr here.

i am running an all-metal PCV valve from a turbo supra (OEM toyota part). as far as i can tell, this thing is NOT going to leak. i am also running a toyota valvecover grommet from the "help" section at advance auto parts. it fits the BP valvecover fine and fits the (slightly smaller) pcv valve perfectly.

sorry, i dont have a part number... but its under $10 at your local toyota dealer.

Anyone tried the Puralator brand for a 88 323 turbo? I bought this from Autozone-it is plastic, but it seems more "sturdy" than the one I examined from Autozone.

How many times do we need to repeat the same thing over and over, the AutozoneCheckerAdvanceorwhateverelsecrap do not work well and leak just from blowing through them, much less under boost!! Spend the money for the OEM part at the dealer.

get rid of it all together with a catch can and some hose. not worth ******* with it. u can use that vacuum line for something better. just my 2 cents on this one, vent to the atmosphere

without a PCV valve you really should change your oil much more often...

a PCV system sucks blowby gases out of the crankcase. without PCV they just chill in there and get absorbed into the oil.

When I do finally got to the dyno it will be on a good old Aussie Dyno Dynamics dyno, without corrections turned on, so it will be in very conservative HP or kW.

As for VTA musanovic, I do not want/plan to as I am wanting to keep the car as visually legal as possible for the next time the cop wants to open my bonnet and take a look. And to answer your previous statement on behalf of therieldeal, ofcourse it won't be sucking on boost, that is the point of the PCV, however in a road car you are in vacuum over 90% of the time.
