The attached picture shows a 323 GTX BOV that I'll be putting on my car. Anybody have a clue which direction is might flow? As in, which end should I connect to the charge piping?

BTW: If it weren't for waiting on my injectors, I'd have a running car again by the end of the weekend

have an air compressor? put some compressed air into the vacuum line and see where the piston/diagphram wants to seal against...that's your inlet.


just by looking at it, im guessing the inlet is on the end opposite of the vacuum port. Due to the shape of the housing and how the piston thing will have to seal....

That was my first thought, but no, I don't. My stupid apartment garage can't support the electrical flow. The space heater in the winter trips the breaker

I appreciate the offer, but I'm going out of town Wednesday anyway...no sense in installing and tuning for one thing for a day just to gut it and retune.

The side with the vacuum port is the input from the Throttle body.

If it's a used bypass valve, pressure testing it might be a good idea. In absense of a compressor, a pressure sprayer with some hoses and fittings from Home Depot can be rigged up for pressure testing.
