Got into some research today, really bored at work, and got to thinking....What am I going to do about Fuel and Timing management. Well, here are the options that I have come up with...

Fuel
1. FM Voodoo box
2. BEGi FPR 2025 or 2035?

Timing
1. FM Timing wheel
2. BIPES

What are ya'll opinions? Looking mainly for ease of use/setup/reliability. Seeing as how I don't have MUCH time to tune out the car, a MS or AEM is out of the question...

I don't see injectors on your list. I'd get larger injectors and an O2 clamp for $100 before I paid $400 for a Voodoo box that is incapable of giving you more fuel on stock injectors than would naturally flow through 305cc injectors.

BEGi fpr and Bipes ACU are easy to install and definitely reliable, but you can only get so much power with them and your tune won't be as efficient as an ecu. With all the plug and play megasquirts coming out, that's really the best option today.

1. I'm going to be installing the MSM injectors, hopefully if they all plug in and fit correctly. I also have the MSM fuel rail as well.
2. Is there a P&P MS for the '99's yet? Their website really doesn't mention anything about them. Either that, or I'm just blind. And I'm not really wanting to install a '96 CAS and matching valve cover.

Sorry, didn't know you have a '99, no pnp for that yet. If you go with a fpr, a high pressure fuel pump is reasonably cheap and lets you get some more fuel.

Say, prolly a 255 Walboro or something to that effect? But you'd definately go FPR instead of the Voodoo box?

Doesn't the '99 have a returnless fuel system? Or did that not start until later?

At any rate, for engines using an AFPR the Walbro 190HP is usually considered to be the pump of choice. Some folks have reported that the 250 flows enough fuel to overwhelm the stock FPR when not in boost.

I don't blame you, that was a VERY informative post! Thank you for the comments! Those .net guys can kinda go roundy round on ya....

So, what would I need to make a Emanage blue work? Seems more basic (read, work better for my tune/forget than a full standalone, which I don't have time to tune out) and would support what I'm wanting to do. I guess for starters I would need a harness from Boomslang. What other parts do I need to order?

you can search through the emanage forum... but essentially you'll need the blue unit and whatever harnesses you decide on, a MAP sensor, an o2 clamp, tuning cable, and I would suggest an olderguy's autotune
