Default The best place to put BOV

So I am in a process of redoing my intercooler setup and with my current routing i dont have much space to put the bov anymore. I know it makes sense to have the bov on the hot side more than on cold side, but would it be ok to put bov near the intake manifold on the cold side, or its the worst place to have it there?

there is no best place or worst place.
most prefer it on the cold side.
it doesn't matter much either way.
put it somewhere between turbo and tb where it will fit the best.

Good to know. I guess I am just going to see where it fits. I will post pics later.

I have mine rite before the tb and have had no problems with it there. Some say that it being on the cold side is better. I don't think it really matters though.

I like before the TB so the air in the intercooler is doing mostly the same thing it always does.

I hope not. Otherwise, I'll have more jury duty to do -- I seem to specialize in meth addicts.

Now, regarding water or water/alcohol injection, there is the consideration that if you inject upstream of the BOV, you will be wasting the injected chemical and making a bit of a mess.

When I put it all together I was running anywhere between 80-100% meth with an M10 nozzle and felt it was an unnecessary risk having the BOV that close to where I was injecting all of that. The bonus was that it made for a very clean looking engine bay having it on the hot side piping.

I didnt know you ran that much meth. What led you to run that percentage? Were you still able to run as much timing as with 50/50?

Put it where ever it fits mine is on my intercooler welded to the end tank. If you have plans on running meth in the future make sure it is somewhere that you can put the meth nozzels after it other wise you will have that **** coming back out the bov and into you car.

P.S. meth will make you cry!!!

I ran it more as an additional fuel source instead of a safeguard. As for my timing map, it was nothing like what I see regularly posted around here.
