Your pipes are made in Korea, you a Commy supporter? huh? lol
Looks good, only thing I'd worry about is those welds cracking as they appear to be concave, it could just be me going blind, but if those welds are concave, then you should worry about them. I'm sure one of the pros will chime in and explain it better than I can.

im far from being a pro-welder but because the pipes were bevelled (sp?) he's used a buttload of surface area. Sure, flush or convex might be a bit stronger in this case, I believe those welds are at least sufficient.

Thats my 0.02 anyways.

Highly awesome- your friend does good work. Looks like you put the turbo in a very nice spot insofar as the downpipe is concerned. Is it just me, or is the turbo flange turned at an angle? (hard to tell from the pix)

By just looking at all the pictures it looks like he didn't clean his joints before welding. Did he not take the paint off of his vgrooves?

How much for a manifold like that from this guy if you don't mind sharing.

ok lots of questions lol well this was the prototype manifold he made for me so we were just testing to see how it would come out, as you can see it came out great. now that he knows the things he needs the next times it will come out looking even better.. the manifold on the car is amazing we had bored it out and everything so the flow was really good..we can make them for the miata as long as you guys can tell me what kind of turbo and if it's internal or external wastegate, were still talking about the price..but what you will get is a custom manifold 1 1/4 thick, bored out, heat resistan paint and wrapped ready to install i will let you guys know about the price later on today

1.25" pipe is small imo... the port size on the head is better suited to a 1.5" pipe. you should also think about squeezing the pipe into an oval where it meets the head flange. if you need flanges, i can probabl help you out btw.
