Default Possibly buying a turbo kit, need advice

I found this on my local CL, and am very tempted to purchase it. I've been doing some research, and it seems to be a good starting point, with fairly decent products.

price: $500 or trade

I have a partial turbo kit for 1.6 engine Greddy manifold, no cracks.
Greddy downpipe, no cracks.
Greddy td04hl 15g, blown, will come with a rebuild kit, new gaskets, and a new actuator that opens up at 7-8 psi.
Greddy emanage blue, no harness, no tuning software or cable.
Greddy type rs bov, the one with the blue horn.
Supra 7mge 305cc injectors.
Yeah, I know there are other things needed (intercooler/fittings/lines/gauges), but I am taking my time, learning the system, and looking out for good deals.

Just wanted some opinion as to whether or not this is a good deal to start off with, and why/why not.

thanks

sounds like a horrible deal.
greddy kit is mediocre starting point at best, and this one is incomplete, and with a blown turbo. fail

I wouldn't bother. For the same money you can build your own manifold and get an SR20 T25 that will outspool and outflow the GReddy unit.

I did a crappy job (relatively) rebuilding my t25 and it works amazingly and is leak free, if it's priced right I wouldn't mind starting with a blown turbo. At least that way you'd know the condition of it.

But that being said, I'd pay a little more or wait for a deal on a artech/begi/FM setup with a t25, I have $230 into mine, $155 if you don't include the busted stud. Ive had both setups and prefer the layout of a side mount.

Fyi, I'd probably he suggesting the greddy kit if it came with a better downpipe.
