Default turbo question

I'm looking at a T3 .42 AR but don't know much about them how would the spool up be? Also what other options do I have for a manifold set up for a T3?

BEGi, ETDRacing.com, JGSTools.com, and last & least OBX

you should expect 10psi by 4000rpms.

Well I'm not sure what you mean by "other options" for a manifold. However, the turbo should have very quick spooling though it depends on flow to and out of the turbo i'd expect nothing shy of in boost by 3 k probably full boost by 4. I'm sure there are members here that can talk more intelligently about the turbo than I can.

I'm sorry what I meant was what turbo options did I have for this manifold that would give me good spool up. I should have been more detailed sorry.

Well anything T3 wise, I would stick to anything .60 a/r or lower. Anything above that and you won't have much spool at all and it will be meant for a much higher hp application, or larger engine.

I'm not for sure the guy is selling it on here under the name forrest. I'm suppost to take a look at it tomorrow. What kinda trim should I be looking for? I talked to yesterday and he said he saw boost at 3300 rpm and was running 10 psi, if that helps any.

I agree it is a great turbo...one that I have and can't use *sob* (take that as crying or son of a bitch). ARG so frustrating having the turbo and having a manifold and downpipe that don't work with it. Some one reallllly needs to buy that thing off me so I don't feel so sad about having it and not using it...oh and so i have money to buy a t2.
