Default Turbo Supporting Engine Build! Input much appreciated!

Ok so I need some help from the gods of this forum

I have a '95 NA I want to turbo. I am very mechanically inclined and know my way around a shop and a car (somewhat lol). I just need some insight.

I am going to build an engine and put a turbo on it and drop it in the car and I'm curious as to what I need to make this engine reliable and strong. My power goals are 250-300whp, do I need forged internals or will oem be fine? What other turbo supporting mods should I consider? What things should I be careful about etc?

I am a patient individual and like to do things right the first time. So any tips you may have would be great!

Thanks

I think the going consensus on what the OEM internals can handle is 250 WTQ, although its recommended to keep it around low 200- confirm this with a search though..

It would take us more time to answer than the time it will take you to search, so no. You arent entitled to our time, you havnt earned anything from us yet.

you need exactly one forged rod. the number 3 is always the weakest. also piston number 4 tends to get hot so replace that with a lower compression one.

I've seen it happen in under 10 minutes.
A few weeks ago he might have been fine, but now our periods have synced, and we are tired of spoon-feeding.

It's why I like this site. Kind of like HBO vs the networks...
