I was surprised by this I didn't know so much thought went into intercoolers. some good info is in there.

For a street application, if it fits between the nose and the radiator, you almost can't go wrong.

The summary of that article:
Pick an appropriate size.
Keep it clean.
Buy new parts... GEE, YOU THINK SINCE IT'S AN ARTICLE POSTED ON A MANUFACTURERS SITE THAT THEY RECOMMEND YOU DON'T BUY USED PARTS... NO ******* ****.
