V-banded downpipe on internal WG T3
I have a 1990 Miata 1.6 turbo with a t3 internal wastegate and a badly fabbed downpipe that I want to convert to a v-band. The current 2.5 inch downpipe is welded right to the internal wastegate housing so it fits with about an inch to spare to the firewall. I'm wondering how to best construct the v-banded downpipe to fit? Should I use a v-banded elbow or just weld the v-band flange to a 90 degree piece of pipe?
In a recent thread DRIVERX said he had a v-banded downpipe on T3. I would have pm'ed him but I am a noob.
Any tips or pics would be appreciated thanks.

Are you basically looking for something like this??? http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant..._Code=ATP-FLS1 That fits your specific application of course... This would cover your turbine side, but you could just buy a V-band flange and then custom fab a downpipe from there. Good luck.
