Using a 1999 head and Intake on a 1995
Has anyone done this?
I'm looking for an option on how to control the Butterflys for the Intake system. I have a MSD RPM Window Switch?
Does anyone have a Diagram of how this was Plumbed from the Factory,
It looks like there was a Vaccum source to the Solenoid then, thru to the Butterfly control (for the Variable Volume Plenum system). In stock configuration, the Solenoid was controlled by the Stock computer (correct) So I should in there be able to contorl the Solenoid the the MSD window Switch (Driven of the Tach lead or Leads) then set the RMP range I want the system to Open the butterflies to Increase the Plenum Volume.
Does this sound correct"
Do I need a 1 way Valve to prevent the Butterflys pushinf shut under boost?
Any Input would be great....
ATM I have a bunch of parts on the Bench but nothing Installed.
How would this work with COP?
