Default Not another n00b question..

So I was thinking about if it was possible to make a car idle at all (under 3k or so) on a stock ECU with, say, 440cc injectors.. This would include toying with anythink, IAC, throttle stop, whateva. Not that im going to do so..

ah, flame away.

i'm sure one could, but why?

if someone needs that large of injectors and are that cheap, they have bigger problems

resutls will be poor, stock ecu is not dynamic enough to handle this situation. i even hated the over-rich situation the stock ecu had with 305cc injectors on cold start.

I think someone had a video of their car doing it. He had an RX-7 MAF adjusted just right to idle them if I remember correctly. That might have been with a piggyback though, I'm not certain.

Pretty sure Juhanis is running some serious injectors in his car on an E-Manage.

you can idle it, sure.

can you control them correctly, no. Even Juhanis couldn't with his E-manage.
