Default Bigger injectors on stock '96 ECU?

I know you 1.6 guys can mess with the clockspring in your AFM's to run bigger injectors, has anyone tried running bigger injectors on stock 1.8 ecu's, specifically OBDII?

I read somewhere, probably here, that the OBDII ecu should be able to compensate better, but how big could I go and still idle?

I couldn't even run 300's on the stock ecu? I thought I'd at least be able to do that much. I'm just planning ahead, I'd like to be at 10-12 psi some day. I have a BEGi AFPR and Walbro 190HP, so I'll be upping the pressure on whatevr I end up with.

If you own the 300's try them. No big deal to switch them out and see if the ECU can bring the AFR down to a good idle.

I think you'd be fine. 300 is just over 10% bigger than stock... which barely flows more than stock at idle. 269 cc/min vs 238 cc/min at idle pressure

I'm thinking it'll be ok. could be slightly more rich at idle, but im going to go with not much.

How about if I add an electric supercharger to lean it out a little?

I haven't heard that saying since we learned about the 50's in my American History class a few years ago.
