Default 1.8 Source for length of water lines and oil feed line?

I have finally decided to not skimp, so I will be purchasing a gt2560r. This is going on a 94 1.8.

I was referencing Oil Feed and Return - Miata Turbo FAQ and Water Lines - Miata Turbo FAQ and this is what I have figured out so far.

HR GT Turbo Water / Oil Installation Kit - $78
HR GT Turbo Water / Oil Installation Kit : GT25R - GT35R [HRGTKit] - $78.00 : Himni Racing, Turbocharger, Turbo, Garrett, Turbo Kit, GReddy, Mazda RX-7, HKS, Apexi, TiAL, TurboXS, TurboSmart, Flange, Turbonetics, Exhaust, Intercooler, ACT, Intake

oil feed line, -3 AN Stainless Steel Braided Line (4 Feet) $40
-3 AN Stainless Steel Braided Line (4 Feet) - $39.90 : Himni Racing, Turbocharger, Turbo, Garrett, Turbo Kit, GReddy, Mazda RX-7, HKS, Apexi, TiAL, TurboXS, TurboSmart, Flange, Turbonetics, Exhaust, Intercooler, ACT, Intake

Since my car was previously turbo'd by the last owner, the oil pan is tapped already. I don't know the size of the fitting that is currently in there, but I know I need a 45 degree angle fitting to go on that.
I need to know approximate lengths and sizes of hoses to purchase for my water lines and the oil return line. Can anyone help with this or guide me to a resource online?

Thanks!

cant tell you anything until you post setup details as different manifolds place the turbo in different proximity from the pan

Open up your local phone book and look for hydraulic shops. They should be able to make you lines, it is worth paying them to do it so they don't leak and such. Here is a post with pictures of how long the oil lines I used in my setup are. I use -4an lines for oil and water on my Garrett turbos, and either -8an or -10an lines for the drain.

I'm in a small town. We have a hydraulic pump repair place, and that's it. They are closed right now so I don't know if they make hoses.

I could see the lengths and sizes I'd need for the oil lines from the post you referenced so thank you.

Any ideas on sizes and lengths for the water lines?

You can always make your own lines. Buy some braided stainless or braided nylon lines and some fittings. There are lots of options for fittings and lines like Russel, Jegs, Vibrant, etc. There are so different ways to do water lines that just asking for a general length is kind of hard to do.

Or since you're running an FM setup you can always call them and ask what lengths they normally run.

I found a good deal for braided lines from Kinugawaturbo.com. The stuff I ordered seemed pretty decent quality, and has held up very well so far (couple hundred miles)

Oil feed length is closer to 2 feet. I ordered kinugawa's 23 inch line. Braided Steel Teflon Hose 1/4" 4AN to 4AN Straight - Straight. They have another one with a 90 at one end for the same price.

They also have water line kits with braided lines and hose barb fittings, but they seem a bit short DIY Turbo Water Line Kit M14 x 1.5mm Garrett T25 T28. I just used rubber lines for water to get started. Random lenths of heater hose from autozone. I'll measure them this afternoon if I can remember.

EDIT: Water lines are about 16" and 18".

Yeah, the stuff I've tried from Kinugawa has been pretty decent, I'd check them out too. Big selection and they will make you whatever you want if you just ask (length/fittings/etc)
