Savington, when you got your pan welded, did you tap the hole or did the shop do it?

you do not need to tap a thread into the pan if you weld a fitting on

just thought i would get in before you get a ton of **** from the other members

Weld in some bung and use AN fittings and stainless lines. Only correct way. Perfect location, right behind the a/c compressor. Straight shot to the turbo with maybe a 12''-14'' hose.

$30 labor charge, and a free hot tank.

You are right sprsta, I totally asked the wrong thing - I meant to ask if he drilled the hole for the bung, or did the shop do that too when they welded the bung in.
