Default Recip Saw and AC condensor

They do not mix. Last night I decided to make a couple of cuts in the front rad/hood latch mounting structure so I can install the IC running the air pipe from the turbo over the rad (which has been lowered) into the intercooler and then back up and over the rad again to the TB. (Devils horns I think you call it??) I used the cordless recip saw but it started to bounce around and the next thing you know I punched 2 holes in the top of the AC condensor! The car is a project and I was not even sure if the AC worked or held a charge but it was fully charged and eventhing leaked out! Stupid! Now I need a new condensor and a full charge! I just had to rant.

No you don't. Rip all that heavy crap out. Not like it gets hot in ontario anyway.

C'mon on now. You expect us to believe you wanted a Miata with a/c in Ontario? Doesn't look like it was meant to be. Now you've got less blocking air flow to the rad, and less to hang off the side of the block.

yank it. I could live without an A/C up in ON. get yourself a cool breeze scoop and call it a day.

For real! If I can deal without a/c in Tennesse, then you sure don't need it in Canada, eh?

I thought that might be the comments. My wife has a 91 auto with air and on certain days its nice.... It actually can get real hot. Sure would be nice to have that extra space plus the power it robs...., I could always put it back in later if I really needed it????

Well in southern Ontario it gets plenty hot especially with the humidity.

But I went to school in Tbay and you don't need the AC.

Summers up there are great, day light till 10pm....

You putting a turbo in there?

Yes a little t25 turbo with a SAAB 900 intercooler. Its all DIY on a budget. Not for racing just for a little more power when I feel like it.
