Default Wondering what cars I can beat at 8psi

Just as the title says im wondering what cars I can beat in the 1/4 mile at 8psi. My setup is td04hl-15g,330cc injectors, ebay fmic, stock ecu ,2.5 inch downpipe all the way to the resonator, no cats, but stock rear section. So let me know your thoughts... a guy with an s2000was talking **** but apparently he ran a 14.4 do u think i can win?

I've put s2k's in their place several times. Don't remember what stage of tune the car was in, but over 170 rwhp for stock ones and probably 200 rwhp for the boosted one.

I'd hope a car with 237 SAE BHP could lay down 170 RWHP... you lay on the drivetrain losses thick.

On a serious note, please tell me the comic in your signature wasn't based on actual events..

The S2000 stinks in the 1/4 because the few Yugo's still on the road have more torque than they do. 237hp, but something like 8lbs of torque. The high revving motor they use is built to be fast on road courses, not the drag strip.

If your trash talking s2000 driver ran a 14.4 you now have a time to shoot for. Run your car, if you beat 14.4 you know you should (or could) have him.

if you have good tire/clutch and can drive s2000 will fail miserably. they are equivalent to us at 170 or so whp BTW.

assuming that your car and driver weighs 2400 lbs you could theortically run a 14 flat with 170 wheel hp. (baised on a couple et calculators) sooo reach that # or lighten your car take out your passenger seat thats reassurance.

Don't launch past 3200 RPM and keep it going shift at 6700 until you hit 3rd and then wind it out. Also skip the bleach box as you dont have slicks. And if you realy feel sneeky pack some ice over the Intake in a bag so nothing gets shorted out. just dont get caught i dunno if they will let you run with it like that or not.
