hey guys , Out of curiosity I stumbled across this ic for 140 bucks....looks alot like a evo intercooler...do you think I could work it...lol maybe !

You could take the studs out yourself using two nuts and the jam nut method if you wanted. Clamp the housing in a vise, thread a nut about half way on the stud, then tighten another stud onto the stud upagainst that nut then a wrench on the lower nut and break that stud free. Use some PB blaster on that stud though for a little while before hand and possibly while.

If you don't have a torch, you can put it in the freezer. It's not the heat (or cold) that will bust the stud loose, it's the fact that different materials expand (or contract) at different rates.
