Default WRX TD04 Questions?

I recently purchased a stock 04 wrx turbo (TD04). Supposedly it is a 7psi wastegate? Does anybody know for sure? Can my 1.8 miata handle that much boost without different injectors?

What year is your car and what fuel management do you plan to run.

Fill out your signature so people have a clue what you have going on.

yes they have a 7 psi wastegate so by the time it goes through your intercooler your engine will be seeing 5-6 psi which is a good starting point.

I have a 95 1.8. I will be building my own log mani. My dad owns a fabricating shop and when I showed him the one's JGS sells he said he could do that himself. I will probably by a down pipe from ebay and mod it. Engine management is up in the air as well as the bov. What would ya'll suggest and why?
Side note: I am only 3 hours from begi(link and tuning).

Side note 2: I might make a few extra manifold kits because it's about the same price either way. I'll let you know when I throw them up on ebay.

I know this post is a bit old, but I just wanted to post this in case you are curious.

Depending on the year of the WRX you got the turbo from, the actuator tension varies. You can adjust the actuator by tightening (more boost) or loosening (less boost) the actuator rod to a degree. 1 turn=about 1psi(it's not an exact science though)

2007 WRX WGDC Tables (I believe '06 WRX also)
Stock restrictor pill size = ~.028”
Factory wastegate pre-tensioned to ~6psi.

2004-2005 WRX WGDC Tables
Stock restrictor pill size = ~.047”
Factory wastegate pre-tensioned to ~6psi

2002-2003 WRX WGDC Tables
Stock restrictor pill size = ~.047”
Factory wastegate pre-tensioned to ~10psi
