Not on a Miata, but using both of those on an '06 STi project car.

I almost bought one a while back, but ended up talking myself out of it. If you get one let me know how you like it.

I had one on the racecar, I hated the damned thing, digital displays for boost are about worthless.

Don't get me wrong, it worked well as a boost controller, but the display might as well have been a random number generator.

BenR. Can you explain what you meant when u said that the display might as well have been a random number generator? Does it not show the current boost settings?

Laggy is an understatement. The it was kinda ok at idle, or at full sustained boost, but anything in between just seemed like random numbers on the display. Granted this is on a car running 18psi, but I would much rather have had a mechanical display, or the old blitz digital setup it used to run.

it works perfectly fine as a boost controller thought right? i bought this so that i wouldnt have to buy a wastegate to control my boost settings.

You will still have to have a wastegate, the boost controller (TruBoost) tells your wastegate, or wastegate actuator on internally gated turbos, when to open and shut.
While the TruBoost is supposed to be a boost controller and gauge all in one, it excels in one area and not the other. Does great as a controller, but the response to fluctuating boost pressure could have been better.
