We're adding another member to the DIYAutoTune.com technical sales/support team soon. It's an entry level position, hourly pay, and would initially be focused on light tech support and sales work (email and discussion forum, heavy on the forum work).

The right person must be very honest and value integrity highly. Must have the mindset and goal of treating others better than you expect to be treated. That's why DIY's support and customer service is so highly rated by our customers-- our goal has always been to treat you better than I'd expect another company to treat me, and I'm a little hard to please .

Must have a good solid knowledge and hands on experience with our products and/or others much like them, would need to be super helpful, super patient, and have a positive attitude with the desire and ability to help communicate technical information to people with a wide range of technical ability, from noob to super-EFI-guru. Ability to type fast and accurate is important (email and forum work!), and familiarity and experience with utilizing web discussion forums such as those used by car enthusiasts is a must. Experience moderating forums is a plus! Most of the time would be spent on discussion forums and answering emails, possibly phone calls.

This is an entry level position and the hourly pay will reflect that, though you should know these positions become the 'farm' where we go to in order to find our 2nd level tech support people. We hire from within where possible.
