well I went to turbohoses.com and I got my car (my mr2)tuned in livermore, as for the miata I got it tune at full function in union city, but they are dedicated to evo's now. Maybe ricky b at turbohoses can tune your car, what setup do you have on the miata.

love MR2's especially with the way the exhaust looks in the back. What exhaust is that?

I always wanted an MR2 turbo :-(

I heard they are difficult to drive though, snap over steer or something. Some say it can be mitigated but still a constant thing to be concerned about.

Something like that, I dont know 100%.

nice ride - I'd expect more torque from a 2.2...? That said, your torque curve is nice - holds forever and keeps the hp climbing.

One thing you can do to help your IC is clock that turbo more vertical and do a new bend in that IC pipe right off the compressor to get it away from the manifold. That thing has to be cooking hot. Even shield that tube.

ok I had to look at those numbers again ... you say it's a 2.2? with a GT35R? There's some torque missing below 4500. my puny 1.8 has 200 ft-lbs at 3800 at 10 psi.

what kind of boost control are you using?

They aren't that weird to drive. They do pivot pretty fast if you're not on top of things, but so can miatas. The mk1 had some weird geometry that toed out on the rear on throttle lift, but it was a an easy car to drive if setup halfway decent.

it is a 2.0 stock bottom gen 3 from mr2 gt model in japan, not at all y old intercooler pipes ran on top of manifold not that hot at all, I will have 2 12"spal fans on it,also waiting for a trunk lid with a hole in it with a saburu scoop, like this one on this page in the middle http://www.jekylhyderacing.com/hyde/intercooler2.htm
