Default Slowest Turbo Miata ever makes a pull

I can still hear the poor transmission whimpering in the garage right now. Poor little guy, he's a tough one for holding out, i'll give him that.

The Data:

.msl attached.

I'm honestly a little to embarrassed to post my timing and VE map. Just take my word for it, it's ugly.
Even STILL i had a better, more smooth powerband than 80% of the SRT4 neons that were there that day. Even with that weird lean spike i had around 3300rpm. I tuned the entire way to the dyno that morning too... Still had issues.

This is a good baseline before winter though, we'll see what better spark, a little more fuel, and some boost can do. I REALLY want to get a good tune on this thing and take it to 8000+rpm. The papers, and even the video shows that this thing still has power yet to be made in the higher RPM's. Obviously, 3.636 is in the works and hopefully i can nab a 6 speed sometime over winter as well.

I might have what you're looking for. Strongly leaning towards doing an rx7 TII trans in mine and I have a 6 speed sitting in my garage just across the river from you in Windsor.

PM me if you want to sell it.

I doubt i'll be allowed across the border though. :( Well... I could probably get across, just not back.

I don't have an issue bringing it across for you as long as tolls and gas are covered.

I still need to do some research into the TII trans before committing, but if you want the 6 spd that might motivate me to stop being lazy and actually research it lol.

gt2560 with FM log manifold and turndown everything fully PnP. Ran on wastegate pressure. (FM no electronics kit) Turbosmart BOV

I think that's everything.

Well, i don't want to pay a ton just to get it across. I really don't want to be spending more than $700 or so on it total.
I need one though, so i'll have to get it from somewhere.

Congrats on the numbers. I'm assuming the lean spike you referenced is the cause of the torque plateau in the 3k - 4k range.

Also, that is the most ghetto looking dyno facility I have ever seen. Where on Earth -

Oh.

Detroit.

Yup, Exactly what went wrong with the torque plateau...

This was actually more close to Flint, which we know is even worse than Detroit... It was a Dynojet FWIW.
